Founded in 1952, Symmco is a manufacturer of powder metal custom-engineered structural component parts for a wide range of industries and applications. Our knowledge and use of soft magnetic composits (SMC) has opened up many unique applications, particularly in the electric motor market. Symmco also specializes in converting parts that are currently cast and/or heavily machined to PM and our complete in-house secondary shop as well as assembly capabilities allows us to provide additional cost savings to our customers. Our gear capabilities include pinion, helical, bevel, miter, internal, spur, and rack. Symmco's product offering also includes a full line of oil impregnated bronze bushings and plates as well as bronze and iron/copper bars, of which we carry the largest inventory in North America, available to ship within 24 hours.
