Standards Committee

The MPIF Standards Committee (and subcommittee activities), is responsible for the development and maintenance of three MPIF Standard 35s, Materials Standards for PM Structural Parts (Std. 35-SP), PM Self-Lubricating Bearings (Std. 35-SLB), and Powder Forged (PF) Steel Parts (Std. 35-PF).

It also develops and maintains standardized methods of test, practices, or guidelines for conventional PM parts and products that are published by MPIF in the Standard Test Methods for Metal Powders and Powder Metallurgy Products book. The committee and subcommittee activities comprise members from MPIF's Powder Metallurgy Parts and Metal Powder Producers Associations.
