Our global engineering teams can assist in design for manufacturing (DFM), part consolidation for cost savings, component assembly and fully integrated tool construction for molds, secondary fixtures and custom setter plates.

Manufacturing Capabilities:
Rapid prototyping, utilizing the latest technology, OptiMIM can typically supply sintered samples in less than 2 weeks.
Molding Machines: OptiMIM 4-slide machines with 8 tons of clamping force. Arburg All-rounder 370E molding machines.
Maximum Part Weight: 454 grams or 1 pound.
Sintering: Utilizing the latest technology our vacuum batch furnaces range from 2, 9 and 30 cubic feet. The furnaces are capable of using argon, nitrogen and hydrogen allowing sintering a wide variety of alloys and produce superior surface finishes. Our nitrogen and hydrogen generators allow us to produce lab grade processing gas.
In-House Secondary: CNC machining, dedicated tapping machines, in-house design and build of automation equipment including in-house custom feeder bowls for high volume applications. Assembly work for value added.
