Other Information: Novamet Specialty Products Corp., formerly a Vale Inco Company, is now a privately held producer of specialty metal and metal oxide particulates.

Carbonyl and Atomized nickel products supplied to the MIM industry include Vale T123 and Novamet 4SP/SNP powders. Novamet 4SP/SNP nickel powders are made via an atomization process resulting in a tightly sized particle distribution. This high purity process is controlled to produce a spherical powder that has a smooth surface. 4SP is available in a <10 micron fraction and also offer four versions of SNP powders in <20, <20+10,<400 Mesh & <31 sizes. The 4SP-10 micron grade has proven to be the preferred choice for MIM. Its shape and particle size allows for a uniform distribution throughout the alloy composition, with a purity level of 99.7%
